We're proud to share some exciting news - JDD has been named a finalist for both Manufacturer of the Year 2025 and Product of the Year at the Mix Awards North.

A Year of Growth, Innovation, and Purpose
Founded by two friends with a passion for design and craft, JDD has grown into a people-powered business where creativity, craftsmanship, and care drive everything we do. Our mission remains simple:

This year, that mission has guided some of our most transformative work yet:
- Launched Nita – our most sustainable product to date, and now a Product of the Year finalist. Nita is built with SEAQUAL® YARN, made from upcycled marine plastic waste, and produced using zero-waste 3D knitting technology in collaboration with Camira. Every part - from its fully recyclable steel frame to its soft halo lighting - embodies our belief that great design should be as sustainable as it is functional. Nita transforms ocean plastics into something lasting, beautiful, and good for the planet.
- Introduced Yume, the first rest pod of its kind in commercial furniture, bringing genuine rest and recovery into the workplace.
- Expanded globally, opening new showrooms in Dubai and Glasgow, while revitalising our London flagship to serve clients around the world better.
- Pioneered smart manufacturing through a partnership with Aston University, we've integrated real-time data tracking and analytics to make our production more efficient, sustainable, and transparent.
- Invested over £2 million – transforming our HQ and London showroom, doubling our workspace, and expanding every department to meet growing demand.
- Continued to innovate digitally from VR/AR in design and a new parametric CAD system linked directly to production, to advanced delivery tracking, and a digital asset management platform for clients.
