Who is Rita?

Rita is an extension of her big sister, Nita - our sustainable ocean-plastic single-seat pod. Rita has become her own standalone seat, standing proud amongst the soft seating product range.

The sculptural design is defined by its soft, rounded form and contemporary style. The chair features a graceful circular silhouette, created through gently curved panels that wrap around a plush, centrally cushioned seat. Its segmented, fluted upholstery adds subtle texture and visual flair.

Keeping true to her design roots and maintaining her style, Rita is also available in 2 and 3 seat sofa options, giving you more options when exploring soft seating for future projects.

With a modern, minimalist aesthetic, the chair blends clean geometry with inviting comfort. Its open, arched base introduces a sense of lightness, while the upholstered structure offers a cocooning, enveloping feel. Ideal as a statement piece in reception areas, break-out areas or boutique hospitality spaces, this chair embodies timeless elegance with a distinctly modern edge.

Our commitment to environmental conservation is the foundation of our entire process, from idea inception to product realisation. We prioritise local and sustainable sourcing of materials and maximising recycling efforts. Leftover wood is repurposed for smaller projects or environmentally responsibly disposed of through licensed waste carriers who use the timber for biomass, or agricultural products. Selected products are available with FSC® certification on request (FSC® C199985). Where provided, FSC-certified materials come from responsibly managed forests, recycled sources, and other controlled sources.

We offer 2-tone as standard but can offer more than 2 fabrics in the same band (with an upcharge).
