FISP member
We have renewed our membership with FISP -
Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme for another year. By doing so, we will continue to assess and reduce our carbon emissions throughout our operations. This will involve implementing energy-efficient manufacturing techniques, adopting renewable energy sources, and optimising transportation logistics to minimise greenhouse gas emissions.
As timber is a primary component of our products, we are FSC® certified (FSC-C199985) which ensures our timber comes from fully audited sustainable forests and other controlled sources.

SEAQUAL member
The Seaqual Initiative is a global collaborative effort that addresses marine plastic pollution by working with industries, NGOs, fishermen, and local communities to recover marine litter from oceans, rivers, and coastal areas. The collected waste is sorted, and plastics are transformed into SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC FABRICS, a high-quality recycled material used by brands and manufacturers worldwide to create sustainable products. The initiative not only helps clean the marine environment but also raises awareness and drives the circular economy.

Design & manufacturing
By sourcing materials locally and sustainably, we help reduce the carbon footprint associated with transportation and supports responsible resource management. This leads to lower greenhouse gas emissions, decreased deforestation, and less habitat destruction, all of which contribute to environmental preservation.
We don’t ship parts from other continents, we don’t outsource our designs and we don’t outsource development. We are mindful of the carbon footprint of all our processes throughout the entire manufacturing journey and are always finding new ways to reduce our emissions further.
Embracing sustainable materials and practices often requires innovative thinking and a willingness to adapt. This mindset can lead to new ideas and solutions that benefit the company in various aspects, beyond just environmental ones. It fosters a culture of continuous improvement and staying ahead in a rapidly changing business landscape.

Recycling & repurposing
Recycling as much as possible and finding new life for offcut wood in smaller projects or through responsible local partnerships helps minimise waste going to landfills. This reduces the environmental impact of waste disposal and promotes a circular economy approach, where materials are reused and repurposed instead of discarded.
Our offices are fitted with energy saving bulbs and we are actively working to remove paper from the workplace, moving to a more digital way of working. We also utilise material off cuts wherever possible or use them to create smaller products such as tote bags as promotional giveaways.

Water based glues
Water-based spray glue isn't an industry standard. We are proud to include it in our manufacturing process because of its health benefits. Being low in VOC content, it is much more environmentally friendly, with fewer regulations and concerns, which makes it perfect for commercial products.
